FAMAS G1

This project is a 3D recreation of the FAMAS G1, a well-known bullpup assault rifle developed and manufactured by MAS – Manufacture d'Armes de Saint‑Étienne for the French military.

The FAMAS G1 is recognizable for its distinctive bullpup configuration, where the magazine and action are positioned behind the trigger group. This design allows the weapon to maintain a full-length barrel while keeping the overall rifle compact, making it effective for both infantry combat and close-quarters operations.

The goal of this project was to accurately capture the unique silhouette and mechanical features of the rifle, including the carry handle, integrated sights, magazine well, and characteristic angular body design. Particular attention was given to maintaining clean topology and precise hard-surface details suitable for real-time applications.

This asset was created as part of a hard-surface modeling exercise focused on realistic weapon construction and game-ready asset development.
